Ceramic Solutions coating systems are engineered to protect carbon and composites from thermal oxidation and accelerated oxidation from catalysts (ie. alkali and alkaline earth salts). These products are available as either Primers or Coatings, though in many cases both are used in concert for optimum protection.
Our Primers are phosphate based solutions which penetrate the open porosity of materials. They coat internal surfaces and provide in-depth low temperature oxidation inhibition up to ~1200°F without significant surface build-up. Part dimensions are retained while oxidation performance is enhanced. A primer selection guide is shown below.

Our Coating solutions are highly filled ceramic base paints which seal and protect external part surfaces. Our paint-on coatings form a durable hard shell primary barrier to oxidation and function at temperatures beyond the limit of primers alone. Coating solutions are available with maximum use temperatures ranging from 1700°F - 2800°F. A coating selection guide is shown below
